Commercial Description:
Medium amber with a faint salmon hue. Ripe raspberry and wildflower nose. A very tart entry leads to a medium-to full-bodied palate with mouth-puckering raspberry, mild hops, and sour lambic-like flavors. Finishes with a tongue-drying berry seed note. A solid domestic interpretation of the style.

This is a very sweet beer with a nice kick of tartness following its sip. It has a lovely pinkish orangish color with a medium body and fruit flavors that had me asking for more. I would love to see a cask conditioned version of this. If you love raspberry and cherry flavors with floral aspects, this is for you. The aroma rocks!

This is a lambic in the sour, ferment the berries style rather than sweet dessert, add the beries at the end style. Cloudy, more pink than red, more tart than sweet, with undertones of lambic sourness and stinkiness. Not really my thing, but well made and possibly more authentic than easy drinking American-palate-friendly framboise like Lindemans.

On draught, aroma very brett, sour cherry and raspberry. Arrived in a goblet a hazen pinkish orange with a thin trace of a white head. Flavor was very good, sour and tart raspberry. Palate was evenly matched with the flavor and tone of this beer, a sour bite and tart finish. Overall this was just really tasty.

Thanks to dickinsonbeer for this treat... Appears a hazy, light orange with a small white head and scattered lacing. Smell is of a heavy dosage of brettanomyces complimenting the sour/citrus, and raspberry & cherry-like aromas. Taste is of a slightly sour brett filled Belgian with mild grassiness, along with some tart berries. Mouthfeel is tart and mildly sour but in a good way. Kind of how the sour patch kids would make your mouth pucker but you would keep eating them anyway b/c they were so tasty.

Sampled courtesy of dickinsonbeer. Poured a deeper and cloudy amber color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas of brett, cherry pie filling, raspberries and light leather. I could smell this all night long. Tastes of tart and sour cherries, raspberries, and brett. Flavor a bit of a let down compared to the awesome aroma. Definitely better than the listed ratings from ’03.

Poured a hazy, reddish amber color with a small, off white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of tons of brett, raspberries, and funky horseblanket... I’d imagine the brewer is extremely pleased with the aroma on this batch. Taste was sweet raspberry, more bretty, and a lightly sour, lemon peel aspect. Could have been a little more sour, but overall this is a solid lambic. Thanks Paul!

Thnaks to dickinsonbeer for this hand bottled from a week old growler sample. Was about 2 weeks off the tap overall. Pours a hazy almost pinkish red amber with a small off white head. Aroma of tart raspberry, cherry and overall a very nice aroma. Flavor of bread, tart cherry and ceral at the back of the tongue. Turned out to be a good beer for #500, although at the time I didn’t realize I was at 500. Had this again at the brew pub, forgetting that I had already had it. Turns out my numbers came out the same. Was maybe picking up some more sourness in the flavor and aroma when I had it fresh from the brew pub.

Delicious lambic. Nice and fruity, not too tart. I see that this beer has been on hiatus and, though this is my first taste, looks to be much better than before.
