Commercial Description:
Copper color with a rich malt and hop flavor. We blend pilsner, caramel and chocolate malts with northern brewer hops to create this classic beer. Brewed in the tradition of 19th century west coast beers which were called "Steam Beer". Crisp and resfreshing!

Draft. Deep gold color with minimal off-white head. Aroma of caramel malt, some hops, honey. Tastes caramel malty, with mid-palate hops, and some brown sugary finishing notes. Interesting.

On tap at the BBW brew pub. Poured a deeper golden color with a small sized off white head. Aromas of caramel, citrus and very light chocolate lurking in the background. Tastes of caramel and cocoa with a light hop finish. Lacing left on the glass.

on tap-pours a creamy offwhite head with gold color. Aroma is caramel malt, hops. Taste is medium malt, dry, slight biting hops.
