Commercial Description:
Hoppiest Brew Works beer ever? The smell of grapefruit, a sweet malt flavor, and oh by the way, lots of hop bitterness. Brewed in the tradition of West Coast ales, we have put loads of malt and hops in our kettle to come up with this sensational ale. Brewed with pale, and crystal malts, hopped with Tomahawks for Yakima Valley, WA. This beer styled has made many a microbrewery famous and this one is sure to please all those who love hops.

Hazy amber with a small off white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of floral hops, citrus, pine, sticky caramel, and grapefruit. Taste of citrus, pine resin, some honey, vanilla, and bitter grapefruit. One of the better brewpub IPAs from PA.

On tap at the Allentown works. Pungent hops aroma and hops texture, balanced with malts and grains. Great layered lacing with a hop seasoned finish.

Draft in Alentown Pours a nice copper with an off white head. Strong aroma of hops, very citrusy grapefruit and malts. Taste has a very good blend not overly hoppy but still alittle bitter a very nice blend. Has a great mouthfeel. Body is in the middle not too strong or too light. Has a great finish with a nice aftertaste.

On tap, Allentown location. Pours a clear dark copper with a small creamy off-white head. Intense hop nose, very citrusy and bright with some slight caramel pushing through. The flavor is very bright and grapefruity without being harshly bitter or over the top. A good bit of malt backing up all these hops, but it’s far from being the focus. Long lingering finish. Mouthfeel is medium bodied and sturdy without being sticky or clingy. Nice soft fizzy carbonation. Very nice, and at 7% ABV, a few of these could put you in trouble!

Golden color with a heavy citrus-floral hop aroma. Flavor is hop dominant with citrus, sugar, bready malts and some pine. Smooth and hoppy finish. Pretty good IPA.

Had this at the Harrisburg brewfest. Appearance - amber color with a mostly diminished head. Aroma - mostly pine and resin. Taste - bitter, dry and noit much hoppiness. Mouthfeel - dry. Ok as an IPA, ut not something I would go our of my way to drink or find.

Draft at Allentown brewpub. Pours a red amber with an off white head. Nice grapefruity hop aroma. Flavor of pale malts with a toasty accent, countered by a citrusy yet bitey hoppiness. Dry finish has lingering grapefruit rind bitterness, along with a distracting astringency.
