| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Nov 4, 2007 The aroma was coffee, toffee and caramel. The nutty and roasty aroma had a toasty nature. The beer arrived medium amber brown with a low wispy tan head that barely lingered at the surface of the glass. The flavor was caramel with a nutty and toasty character and a light earthy presence. The finish was dry with lasting toast into the aftertaste. The body was medium with a very low carobnation level. A good English Ale which would be very good on cask.
