| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 25, 2007 Draft at the Allentown brewery. Brown colored body with some burgundy light at the edges of the glass. Nutty brown porter nose, light cream but with heavy presence of nuts, and moderately heavy vanilla. Flavor is medium-sweet, almost frutiy at times, but very malt-forward. Has a long-lasting nutty finish, with some sweet maple resin flavors as well. Better than expected, and something I could sit with and drink. DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 27, 2009 On tap, at Allentown location. Pours a clear dark brown body with a small light brown head that fell to a wispy covering. Very roasty nose with a good bit of molasses, some hoppiness, and a nice coffee accent. Dry and roasty flavor with a nice burnt coffee finish that has just a bit of hops. Mouthfeel is on the drier side and medium bodied. A good Porter, especially if you like a drier version. kmweaver (2482), Sebastopol, California, USA

Medium-to-full, well-roasted mouthfeel: lively carbonation, with a dense, dried fruit chewiness that gives this porter some oomph; nutty, brown sugar malts coming through at mid-palate and afterwards. Lengthy, nutty and lightly chocolaty finish.
