Draft at the Allentown brewery. Brown colored body with some burgundy light at the edges of the glass. Nutty brown porter nose, light cream but with heavy presence of nuts, and moderately heavy vanilla. Flavor is medium-sweet, almost frutiy at times, but very malt-forward. Has a long-lasting nutty finish, with some sweet maple resin flavors as well. Better than expected, and something I could sit with and drink.

Draft at Allentown. Pours deep brown with khaki head. Aroma is roasty dark malt, dark chocolate, slight prunes. Tastes roasty, malty, rich, with the malt flavors coupled with dark chocolate and some figgy notes. Stays very smooth, with solid complexity. Very well done.

Dark brown with a small, light tan head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malts, cocoa, nuts, some floral hops, and caramel. Taste of roasted malts, chocolate, a bit of smoke, vanilla beans, and caramel with a drier finish.

On tap at the Allentown Brew Works. Pours a deep brown with lots of amber notes and a medium creamy/lacing light tan head. Aroma of milk chocolate, light roastiness, caramel and some nuts. Flavor was a nice mix of the same. A solid porter.

On tap, at Allentown location. Pours a clear dark brown body with a small light brown head that fell to a wispy covering. Very roasty nose with a good bit of molasses, some hoppiness, and a nice coffee accent. Dry and roasty flavor with a nice burnt coffee finish that has just a bit of hops. Mouthfeel is on the drier side and medium bodied. A good Porter, especially if you like a drier version.

Draft @ Allentown Brew Works, pre-BCTC beerventure. Pours a dark brown center; light tan head with good lacing. Roasted and chocolate character in the aroma. Medium-to-full, well-roasted mouthfeel: lively carbonation, with a dense, dried fruit chewiness that gives this porter some oomph; nutty, brown sugar malts coming through at mid-palate and afterwards. Lengthy, nutty and lightly chocolaty finish.
