Pours orange with a healthy white head that is creamy and sticks around in the form of lacing. The first aromas that pop out are pumpkins, nutmeg, mace, and ginger. I didn’t detect any cinnamon on the nose. Tastes lightly hopped and slightly peppery with only hints of the wonderful aromas this beer puts out. Mouthfeel is tingly but watery and the finish is on the bitter side with some all-spice notes. 5000 (2409), Hardened Liver, Washington, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 7, 2005 Bottle: Light orange in color, clear, fairly large white frothy head, spotty lacing, mild carbonation.   Quite spicy on the nose, nutmeg, cinnamon, all-spice, all the good stuff for a pumpkin ale.   Even seems a bit pumpkiny.   Spicy start with this one, but the flavor falls off quickly.   More presentable on the nose than on the tongue.   Body and mouthfeel are average, but teetering on the thin side a bit.   Clean finish, but the spices dont stick around very long.   Good example, just needs to last a little longer.   Thanks Jeff!

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 1, 2005 One of the best labels for a Pumpkin Ale I’ve scene this year. Nice to see Weyerbacher helping out a neighbor with bottling this one. Pours a light slightly hazy golden orange with an average fluffy head. Aroma is canned pumpkin, nutmeg, clove and light cinnomon. Flavor of nutmet, clove and cinnamon with some pumpkin also. Slightly artificial, but a decent pumpkin ale. freekyp (900), Thomasville, North Carolina, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Oct 22, 2005 Amazing pumpkin pie aroma with strong nutmeg and cinnamon. Slightly thin mouthfeel with a huge spice underpinning, this orange brew has a mid-sized tan head and decent lacing. A bit unfinished, the aroma was better than the flavor, which had a slightly acrid character. Not the best pumkin ale I’ve had, but decent. JFURYCAT (791), East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 16, 2005 It was a little bit watery on the mouthfeel but the pumpkin flavor was delightfully pumpkinesque with a nice mix of spices. In the aftertaste, there is a kick of a spice which makes this a beer I’d order again. Its this aspect that keeps the beer from being plain. I had this at BBW off the tap while I was drinking their sampler. I can’t wait to try the Wyerbacher Pumpkin now! This is my first pumpkin ale and I don’t like pumpkin pie. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 13, 2005 Bottle from Ortino’s. I did not know that Weyerbacher was bottling certain Bethlehem beers. Copper pour, with a great, sweet pumpkin aroma, along with minor hops and malt. The flavor is a tad watery, but contains an authentic pumpkin flavor, along with the applicable pumpkin spices. The finish is smooth but a bit lacking in complexity. This is a beer that I would gladly drink more of. MullMan (1080), Bloomfield, New Jersey, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 1, 2005 Orange body with small white head. Deffinate nose of pumpkin pie and spice. Flavor is pumpkin, but not over done. Bit light in mouth feel and finish, but not bad if you like pumpkin ale.
