| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 21, 2006 Poured a clear copper color. Aroma was heavy on the spice. Make that too heavy. So much so that the aroma seemed dry. Like inhaling in a dry sauna without the heat. Flavor way too spiced. Cinnamon, gum, clove. Dry finish. brentfeesh (1039), Gadsden, Alabama, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Feb 1, 2006 Sampled at the Friday night (Pre-Atlanta Cask Ale tasting) RB gathering at Twains 2006. 22 oz bottle. Bubble gum aroma with vanilla syrup. Various overdone spices. Bubble gum flavor with spices added. God! Make it stop! jimmack (1221), Nutley, New Jersey, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 31, 2006 22oz. bomber. Clear, dark copper color with a small beige head. Sweet, spicy aroma of nutmeg, cinnamon and cloves. Sweet malty flavor with tons of sweet baking spices and an alcoholic finish. Spices remind me of a pumpkin beer, but with a much higher alcohol kick. A bit over the top for me. SpringsLicker (2043), Tennessee, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jan 30, 2006 Pours with a fleeting white head that slips into a dark orange/amber body.
Spicy-sweet fruity aroma that reminds me of candy "Circus Peanuts".
A bit too much spice in the flavor. aracauna (2391), Georgia, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 29, 2006 This intensely spice beer pours a hazy mahogany. The aroma is a huge buttload of nutmeg. Very spicy. Spices hide every other quality of the beer except a very tiny bit of the warm, chewy malt. zathrus13 (1313), Mount Laurel, New Jersey, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jan 28, 2006 Pours orange/amber/copper, with a tan head. Aromas are sweet malt, and loads of rich spices. Flavors are spices, malt, and some yeast. Flavora are very rich, but the body is a little too light. Very intriguing. 5000 (2600), Hardened Liver, Washington, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 25, 2006 Bottle: Dark cherry, large light beige head, frothy, fairly good lacing, mild carbonation.   Huge spicy aroma, lots of cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice.   Seems like an Imperial Pumpkin on steroids.   There is a slight bright floral alcoholic like tinge as well.   Quite spicy on the tongue, and might I say quite spicy.   Yea, this one has loads of the aformentioned spices.   Fairly big bodied, smooth, the high ABV is fairly well hidden.   Spicy finish, slight alcohol is noticeable but it is actually quite nice providing a somewhat dry finish.   I didn’t think this was much of a Belgian, but rather a very big spiced/herb/vegetable.   Would love to put one down until next Halloween.   Thanks a ton Jeff for this one!
