Draught @ TFOB 2006. Have at it anyone that prefers a wine cooler to a beer. This wasn’t all together horrible, but it holds true to my comments in the past that beer and fruit don’t mix. Heavily carbonated, light coloured, no head and sour apple flavour. Not a combination that I would go out of my way to get. Oh well.

On tap at Smokeless Joe’s. Pours a clear yellow with a thin white head. Big apple aromas, reminds me of the green apple sour puckers. Wow… doesn’t taste like beer, doesn’t taste like cider. Tastes like some sort of alco-pop, tangy, sweet… really, really sweet. Light grain bitterness that sneaks up at the end in an attempt to fight through the big fake sweet apple flavors.

Bottle from LCBO thanks to Robin ! Pours clear pale yellow with small head, very short retention. Aroma has lots of green apples, slight sour. Taste has some apples. A bit cider-like. Finish is dry. Overall, nothing really comes out except apples. This is not bad but I won’t have again. Slight off flavor here and there.

From the OCB discovery pack no. 2. 341ml bottle poured into a Pilsner glass. Poured yellow with a slight haze to it. Head was a 1/4" which was quickly gone. Looks like your average macro lager. Strong apple juice aroma and not much else. Tastes like apples! Very sweet with some sourness. I find it almost too sweet at times. Good apple aftertaste. Feels much stickier then your average Lager/Pilsner. Pretty drinkable at first but the apple taste can get overpowering as you go. One bottle is enough. It’s hard to call this a beer as It’s more like a fizzy alcoholic apple drink. It’s good for what it is but I’d rather have a cider or mix my apple juice with Whiskey.

kind of gimmicky but not as bad as you would think. Aroma is pure green apple. Pours slightly cloudy pale yellow. Very sweet and appley. Slight astringent finish. Not a "beer drinkers beer" but you could live with one on a patio.

Half of a 12oz bottle. Hazy yellow. Very thiin head. Great green apple aroma. Full of fruit sugars. Overly sweet flavour. Sugary fruit beer. Very big green apple taste. A little cider-like especially in the finish. A light sour apple note as well.

This Pils poured a clear light yellow colour with a nice big bright white head. To the nose there are scents of apples, dough and cinnamon. The first taste was really too sweet and thick. Flavours of sugary carbonated apple juice is about all there is. Palate is sweet and the thickness is lingering. Sickly sweet.

Thin straw colour with aroma of apple. Taste is of a light pilsner with apple. It’s different but I wouldn’t make a habit of drinking this.
