A hazy wit with a thin white head. In aroma, nice strawberry and bananas, with a hint of cloves. In mouth, more pronounced cloves, pleasant sweetness, creamy, spot on for the style. Nice light hopping action. Another fine offering from Nickel Brook. Bottle from JesseM, thanks !

Bottle from matt1275. Thanks again! Pours hazy pale gold with a finely bubbled white head. Aromas of citrus, banana and yeast. Near medium body with fizzy/frothy carbonation. Flavor is clove, banana and touch of citrus. Finishes just a little bitter or perhaps zesty. More flavor than many wits.

Bottle, thanks to Matt1275 for the trade. Pours a nice cloudy yellow, small white head goes away quickly. Bit of skunkiness in the aroma much like the organic lager. Some spiciness too. Taste is better - lots of spiciness, some banana, yeast in taste. Mouthfeel si thin though with very little carbonation (it is needed). Not bad, but rough around the edges.

341 ml bottle at Chancey Smith’s in London. Pours a cloudy yellow gold wioth virtually no head. Aroma of banana and slight spiciness. Flavour is similar although frutiness really comes through in the finish.

sample at the brewery pours from a 341 ml bottle. pours hazy gold, a classic wheat pour. aroma of clove and banana. very solid flavour that isnt pure wit put more an all around wheat goodness. it shows aspects of several styles without strictly conforming to any specific style guidelines. enjoyable on this lovely early spring afternoon.

Bottle: decant puts a murky gold ale in the tumbler with a small sticky white puffy cap...laces well. Aroma is biscuity with citrus tones and a caraway-corriander type spiciness. Flavor is toasty-wheaty-biscuity up front with aromatic herbal hopping and light citrus tone, starts drying up mid way and finishes with a dry tartness and a light bittering a;most puckering...great stuff!. Dry, spritzy, spicey, citrusy, refreshing great rendition of the style and the closest flavor profile to Hoegaarten I’ve tasted fron local brewers of the style.

Opaque beige. Slightly wheaty, lightly fruity nose. Spicy, spritzy character. Wheaty towards the finish with a hint of spice. Decent example.

Draught @ Volo. Hazy gold, not much head, served in tall lager glass. Mild but nicely spiced aroma with slight sour notes and a little lemon tartness. Soft carbonation, sticky mouthfeel. Very yeasty. Has a sweet, sticky aftertaste but is actually quite nice flavor-wise with thick wheat malt character, solid spicing, and refreshing citrus and herbal undertones.
