The beer also contained much carbonic acid in the glass.
The beer has a thick light amber color and a sweet taste. The after tast of the beer is light hoppy bitter with a lemon acid touch. This beer smells lemmonly. fonefan (11887), VestJylland, Denmark

It’s tangy, sharp and refreshing. Very cleansing on the pallet making it easy to drink. Only a background hint of banana in the flavour. Hugh (129), Breda, Netherlands

It fails as the yeast is nowhere near complex enough to deliver the flavours of a Bavarian weizen, but it would show Erdinger up as the rubbish it now is in a direct comparison. The Beyerd have really found a talented brewer who is delivering the quality standards of large breweries on a tiny kit.
