Opened when lightly chilled. The bottle exploded with carbonation and lots of escaping foam. Dry aroma of herbal hops, but it is quite nice. Dark brown color and lots of carbonation and a tall brown head. Some sweetness, but lots of herbal hops. Dry flavor and dry finish. Very expensive at $16.

Shared bottle at JK’s Spring Gathering. From the bottle it pours an opaque burnt copper brown with a creamy tan head. Lacing is very good. Aromas picked up were tart lemons, caramel, prunes and perfume hops. Taste was tart fruit, some grass, and caramel. Finish was a dry sour and then a quite warm aftertaste.

Explodes out of bottle making a five-finger+ white rocky head that goes quickly leaving some lace. Cloudy amber color. Ton of yeast. Light-medium carbonation and medium bodied. Malty, yeasty nose. Flavor is sweet and spicy some raisin, clean finish. $5.99 for a 330ml bottle from Tully’s Beer & Wine Wells, Me.

Poured a cloudy medium brown with a huge white head. Aroma was of some yeast and maybe a little belgianness. Flavor was sweet and a little hot for only being 7.5%. Not too sweet though, not to bad but definetily different.

Cloudy caramel in color with a khaki dust harrowing at the sides. Icy whitish grey lines the head completely. Coriander, ragweed and cherry blossoms strongly rope in the olfactory. Plastic squeeze toys drop in mulberry caramel pools. Coriander and aged grains of paradise roll with soiled oats, sitting in the back of a wooden wagon for a strange flavored derivative. Soiled mulberry potpourri also comes to call. Fullness of body is cherry picked by the tainted cranberry stew spread over dried out prairies, becoming a touch too tarnished with garden variety tendencies. Rhubarb and spiced plum tea flavored toffee digress too forcefully in the finale. Thanks for sharing, Brigadier!

Hazy dark orange with a towering off-white head. Applejuice, candied citrus, and floral spiciness in the aroma. Muted malt flavors up front, fruity and estery. Herbal spicy flavors then manifest, some floral tones. Earthen peppery character in the finish with some ruddy caramel. Mouthfeel is a medium light, somewhat dry.

Bottle. Poured hazy copper with an large fizzy off-white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate sweet citrus spice aroma. Medium to full body with a sticky texture and bottle conditioned thin particles. Heavy balanced flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of long duration. This is a standout beer and I would recommend this to a freind.
