Bottle (750ml). Shared with blankboy, GregClow, mds and tupalev - my bottle via trade with Ughsmash. Murky deep orange, huge fluffy off-white lasting head. Aroma like a mild geueze - sour, extremely yeasty, lightly lactic, cut-grass hops. The taste is very yeasty and pungent hops, sharp, crisp and bitter in the finish. Decent body, bitter finish, nice carbonation. Solid beer, really like it.

Although BFM markets the 6 types of hops, the bitterness is well contained, and most substantiated in the finish. Superior tasty Belgian dark, with herbal aroma. Some caramel, grassiness, bold taste for merely 7.5%, citrus, coriander,

This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a extremely large sized head of all foam bubbles that were very long lasting and left behind a hazy softly carbonated dark orange brown colored body and a fair lacing. The bottle started foaming up and oput of its mouth as soon as it was un capped. It continued to foam up and out of the bottle for like ten minutes! I have never seen one like that before. The aroma was malty musty and dough. The mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of malt mild spice coriander and mild dough. An OK brew just nothing special.

2006 bottle shared at Coastal Wine Connection’s monthly tasting. Very light flavors, malty and tart. Big frothy head over a hazy orange body. Bit of a spicy bite. OK, but at $19 a bottle, I’m glad I shared it.

Murky copper color with a thick head. The aroma is dead to the world. Big flavors of wet horseblanket and spices. Much yeast. It’s not all bad.

Last HWOH. Pours a deep amber with a thin head and ok carbonation. Herbal phenolic, vanilla and hops in the aroma. Moderate sweetness from caramel malts for balance in the flavor and a nice herbal hoppy bitterenss. Citrus, herbal, earthy hops throughout.

750 mL bottle from beastiefan2k. This one was a serious gusher. Pours cloudy dark orange, heavy particulate, huge off-white fizzy lasting head, excellent lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (bread, cereal, meal), average hops (herbs, grass), heavy yeast (dough, musty, leaves) with notes of light alcohol, banana, cask and wood. Medium bodied, sticky texture, fizzy carbonation and a bitter finish. Short duration, light sweetness, moderate acidity and heavy bitterness with a salty flavor.

Nice aroma of yeast, spices, tart fruit, malt and some sweetness. Big yeasty flavour with herbal hops and tart fruit. Good bitter finish. A touch boozy but not enought to detract from the enjoyment. Medium bodied. This as they say, is the shit! Awesome.
