Pours light copper with a ginormous off-white head. Very highly carbonated. Aroma is yeasty and a bit like pie meringue. Aroma is floral and nectar-like. Perhaps a bit of blue berries. It tastes nothing like the aroma. Pronounced quinine flavors not unlike tonic water. Has an unusual hop bitterness for such a style as this. The hops remind me of some cheap malt liquors. Some caramel flavors emerge at warming. Starts to get very candy sweet at room temperature. There’s a residual lingering bitterness on the entire tongue. Really mild, but nice. rederic (1816), montréal, Quebec, Canada

Nice floral hoppy aroma, some bubble-gum phenols present. Hops pretty mellow on the taste from sitting a bit. Sweetish taste, pretty straightforward Belgian characters. Nice slight tartness to the finish. weeare138 (936), Collegeville, Pennsylvania, USA

Appears an orange amber with a fluffy light tan head. Tons of scattered lacing is left around the glass.
Smell is of a decent hop presence that is sweet, along with a malt presence that contains notes of herbs, citrus, vanilla cream, and mild toasted nuts.
Taste is of the same aromas with the same sugary blend that seems to fit together in an interesting mix.
Mouthfeel is sweet up front and fading to the back of the tongue in a medium bodied brew.

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 8, 2008 Unknown vintage of my swing top bottle, but has had time to gather lots of dust. Pours with a large, rocky, white head covereing a cloudy, light orange body with some medium sized particles floating around in it. Some alcohol legs stand above the minimal lacing on the side of the glass. Aroma is rich orange zest, tangarine hops, some citric sourness (and barnyard), lightly tangy toffee malts and some muscat grapes. Taste is dry and quite tangy with a bit of sourness. Lots of lemon with some apple, earthiness, and wood. Creamy mouthfeel with soft bubblees. An odd, sour instead of bitter IPA.
