Ungstrup (10824), Frederiksberg, Denmark Mar 26, 2006 [Vintage 2005 - sampled March 2006] A deep red beer with a nice brown head. The aroma is very complex with strong notes of prunes, combined with notes of alcohol, chocolate, and berries. The flavor is less interesting, but still nice; quite sweet with quite strong notes of berries, combined with lesser notes of prunes, wood, alcohol, and roasted malt. The end is quite dry with notes of wood lingering. omhper (10140), Stockholm, Sweden Nov 28, 2004 Updated: Dec 28, 2004Bottled. Mahogany colour. Buttery coffee aroma. Sweet and richly malty, lightly vinous. Dry finish with lingering bitterness. Good bock with nice malt profile. Papsoe (9663), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jan 29, 2006 (Bottle 34,1 cl) Pours a clear, dark brown with a small, beige head. Malty and very classical Bock nose. Fairly full-bodied with a shipload of roasted malt and some almost sherry like accents. Very solid if not exactly top class Bock. 270106 Oakes (6784), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Feb 12, 2004 Dark amber. Bright.
