Cask at the Three Mariners, Hythe. Pale straw with a lime green tint; fresh crisp apple aroma; flavour is tart and sweet, very green; sweet and fruity to finish with a dry edge. Very drinkable.

Cask, The Criterion, Leicester. Pale gold with a small head. Aromas are apple with musty, yeasty notes. Floral with some acidity. Flavours are sweet, earthy apple with lemon. Dry on the finish.

Bedford Beer Festival ’07. Hazy greyish gold. Stewed apple aroma. Taste is sweet with a distinct element of apple core as well as some sourness. Slight dryness. Good.

A Mes rate: Plastic Barrel at Kent Beer Festival. Very very pale colour. Mellow aroma with just a light sweetness and nothing much else happening at all. Similar flavour with some slight citrus. Pretty dull.

Very light yellow, very clear. A white wine body, silky and slippery. Quite sweet but not overly problematic to me. Only a bit tart, good apple flavor. Despite not looking great or feeling exceptional, I liked it. (on cask, Three Judges, Glasgow)
