Light malt taste, with a good amount of those strong hops. Medium bodied, well balanced, pleasantly bitter. I enjoyed this beer very much, but it seems like a very mild IPA? Pours an amber-gold lightly clouded ale in the glass....decent 2 finger sticky cap...moderate carbonation.
Aromas of citrus ( grapefruit), grass, sweet graininess.
Medium malt spine, medium body, slick mouth fee;.
Starts with a nice blast of sweet, bready crystal malt, then a respectable fruity/citrus tone and a wet finish with a pleasant, and not too heavy bittering.
The malts are upfront on this ale and it has a very close resemblance to an American micro Pale with it’s cascade hopping...but the maltiness and smoothness of a conditioned cream ale.
Very pleasant.

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 28, 2006 Light amber in colour with strong carbonation. Great aromas of crusty bread, herbal hops, and some milder notes of honey and citrus. Rounded flavors of lightly toasted malt, tree bark, and a bit of earth. Medium bodied, but finishes light and clean. Not really to style, but who the hell cares. An unassuming little beer with a lot of subtle complexities. Big thanks to Lubiere for the bottle Goldorak (439), Montreal, Quebec, Canada

Copper amber (man, I use this one a lot in my ratings!), the head was a little diminutive, but had lots of little effervescent bubbles.
Very pleasing herbal, piney aroma, I’d even say earthy. Right up my alley.
Excellent balance of crisp hops and a sweet malty body. The finish is fruity, almost flowery, but could use a little more of a bitter bite in the end. An enjoyable ale you could session on all night. Don’t know if it’s a cream ale or not though, seemed more like an pale ale to me. beerbuzzmontreal (2935), Montreal, Quebec, Canada
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 17, 2006 Clear orangey copper pour with a thin white head. Good aroma and flavor of floral hops and toasted malt with a mild bitter finish. The mouthfeel is slightly oily and the carbonation is lively. This beer’s quality comes as a nice surprise. Nose is soft hop and caramel. Pleasant foamy body. Generously hopped but still well balanced with the malt caramel. Fruity soft bitterness (grapefruity flavour). Lively carbonation. Too hoppy and crisp to qualify as a true Cream Ale but that’s alright with me since I’m not found of cream-ales. Nice pub/session beer. Pleasant surprise from this new one-beer-brewery. Plus it provides for good pub entertainment with drunk customers “I’d like a beerbrier… bierberier… brierbeer…the second one from the top”. MartinT (5080), Montreal, Quebec, Canada
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 15, 2006 Any first impressions?
-A clear bronze orange is covered by thick foam.
-A sanative aroma of C-hops is aptly balanced with toasted caramel maltiness.
-The wooden hop flavor is wisely joined to the caramel maltiness.
-A creamy body is created by the well-extracted malts and fitting carbonation.
What if you dig deeper?
-The biscuity, toasted grain builds with time, developing an attractive crunchy flavor and aftertaste.
-Bitterness is moderate, but allies mild wooden hops and grain.
-A perilously drinkable, humble ale for long sessions, this won’t get any high scores here, but I don’t think this beer could serve its purpose any better.
