Aroma is malty with light notes of toasted grain; Hoppy with a trace notes of lemon zest, moderate sweet grass and honeysuckle, brewed mellow tea; Yeasty with a trace of attic;Trace note of green apple peel.

The flavor is moderately-to-heavily sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter with an average-length, lightly warm, lightly sweet finish.

The body is medium, the texture is creamy smooth and the carbonation is lively.

Simple and lovely. ratman197 (3270), Arvada, Colorado, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 11, 2006 Pours light gold with an enormous white head. The aroma is farily lihgt - some earthiness and spiciness though with bits of light hay that is kind of musty. Medium / light bodied with quite a bit of sharp prickly carbonation. On the taste the hazy-like malt is dominant with some earthiness. There is also some sharp taste that shows the intensity of citrus, but not the citrus flavor. Finish has biting spice and carbonation. A good solid beer worth having. beervana (781), Libertyville, Illinois, USA

Pleasingly hoppy with grassy, floral earthy aromas the malt is dry and biscuity with a little spicy yeast. Fairly dry body with zesty hop finish. As the bottle progresses a kind of musty sweetness builds up which wasnt entirely to my taste. DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA

This one pours turbid dark straw with 2-finger off-white head. Aroma of floral hopcitrus, citrus fruit, including orange zest and tangerine, and some coriander notes. The flavor is on the dry and floral and spicy side, with notes of citrus, orange zest, and some finishing funky yeast esters. Very good.
