| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 10/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jun 17, 2006 Poured a golden-amber color with a nice fluffy initial head. Lacing was solid. Aroma was sweet corn and floral, some spice, light farmhouse. Flavor was excellent, my favorite biere de garde so far. A sweet and crisp musty, earthy, rustic type flavor that finishes with some wood tones and floral notes. Mouthfeel was moderate, smooth, not cloying or sticky, although a sweet beer, yet lightly hopped for the finish. Outstanding. rian (4), Portland, Oregon, USA does not count | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 12, 2006 I haven’t noticed any comments on the apparent "sourness" of this one. I imagine that’s a lactic acid thing from the brewing process. A bit too light for my taste, but I appreciate the "wild" aspect. A bit of a iodine, mineral edge in the background. Nice light , fine carbonation with a slightly oily feel to it. Glouglouburp (2887), Montreal, Quebec, Canada

Aroma is sweet, flower garden with a bubblegum note. Taste is honey, white bread and some not very flavourful industrial white cheese. The finish is floury/bready with an oily hops resin flavour. The body is actually rather oily and that’s probably why the beer is without culottes, it won’t stick on. Miguel (1181), Saint-Ours, Quebec, Canada
