Medium bodied with rather lively mouthfeels. Grassy hops along with herbal spices and a lot of orange peels make up most of the flavour. Salty finish. A well balanced, typical north French ale. kook (2034), Perth, Western Australia, Australia
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jul 23, 2005 Clear gold, high carb light fluffy large white head. Musty cellar aroma, with citrus, grape and honey. Sweet clean fruity malt flavours, with some light spice and toasted malt notes. Not at any point cloying, and suprisingly moreish for a sweeter beer. Medium bodied, quite nice. Linc (736), Sydney, Australia
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 10, 2005 Beer of the no pants, we jokingly referred to this one, and as it turns out my drunken translation wasn’t far from the mark. What a funky name for a funky beer. Sweet malt, a little vinous and fruity, a musty funk added interest and balance to the rather thick palate. mds (2112), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

I got a pretty generous sample of this for some reason at the Beer Bistro Summer Festival. Pale golden straw colour with a frothy white head. Yeasty bread aroma and sweet maltiness. Starts out sweet with light alcohol notes. medium carbonation. I found this to be very sweet and uninteresting... blankboy (3262), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Clear golden colour with a small white head. Mild aroma with hints of orange and vanilla. Flavour is decent and pleasant, but nothing really stands out. I enjoyed the sample I had, but didn’t find it exciting enough to want another. jefcon (1009), Arlington, Virginia, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 21, 2005 Yellow gold with a white head that leaves some racing in its wake. Aromas are greens, attic, and orange. The beer itself is light and effervescent. Tastes include bitter herbs and oranges. A very different profile from beer I am used to. Not particularly drinkable, but complex and interesting enough to hold attention for the entire bottle.
