Commercial Description:
Made in the tradition of artisan brewers, Sans Culottes is a blonde beer sur lie. Probably the best bière de garde for the uninitiated to start with. Packed in a 75 cls bottle with a wired-down cork, Sans Culottes sports a brilliantly eye-catching label showing a revolutionary soldier proudly wearing his pantalons, having wisely forsaken his culottes for the coming struggle.

Bottle. [thank you, Bigbro]
Pours golden yellow with a big, frothy, white head with good lacing and duration. Aroma has a little bit of medicine, but also hay, yeast, light spiciness and lots of malts. Fine, creamy mouthfeel. Sweet flavour, very malty, some honey. Finish is vinious with notes of vanilla and ginger. Okay.

750 ml bottle from Knightly Spirits. Pours a murky dark gold color and a nice one-inch off-white head that reduces to a rim of froth. Strong esters of wheat, sour yeast, apple, and pear. Flavors include more grains and pear, green grapes, subtle piney hops. Nice malty backbone with subtle yeast in the forefront, but not as much yeast presence in the aroma. Medium carbonation and body. Good, but simplified in character.
