Pour is hazy yellow with a nice white head. Aroma is quite faint, though get some grass and earthiness as it warms. The taste is a bit sweet and malty, a touch of bright hops and a nice clean finish. Overall, a nice clean brew, though nothing I got too excited about. mgumby10 (1858), Jupiter, Florida, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 16, 2007 Pours a hazy gold with a light white head. Kind of syrupy looking. Interesting array of aromas. A unique spice aroma that I cant seem to put my finger on. Definitely a little caramel or butterscotch, with some funk as well in typical biere de garde fashion. Taste has a bunch of cinnamon in it and less citrus. There are some orange characters, but more spiciness than anything. Not like alot of biere de garde’s Ive had. Interesting. malrubius (1000), Valley Stream, New York, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 16, 2007 Bottle from a Duvel glass. Sweet aroma with a little spice. Pours nice hazy yellow with bright white head that lingers a short while. Flavor is sweet and fruity (peach/apricot) with a little minty spice. Body and mouthful are refreshing if slightly light and very slightly watery. Overall, a nice refreshing blond but not outstanding. Rictus (126), Camdenton, Missouri, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 14, 2007 Fluffy quickly dissipating head. Beautiful clear copper color. Light but earthy smell. Earthy happy aroma. Kind of wild but complex. In my mouth it felt like spiky velvet. Very pretty semi-full mouthfeel. This stuff is smiles in a bottle.
