Pours a clear yellowish golden, with quite a lot of small particles. A small, frothy white head. Nice yeasty aroma, lots of oranges, pineapple and biscuity malts. High and lively carbonation. Flavour is nicely fruity with apples, oranges, light lemony zest and pineapple. A firm, yeasty note as well. Refreshing. oberabcbbsok (686), Hoboken, Belgium

| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Jun 16, 2008 330ml bottle from Beers Of Europe. A hazy orange beer with a lot of yeast sediment. Hmm - quite thin and dry for a 9% beer - certainly fully attenuated. Not exactly tart, but leaning in that direction. Mousy, soft carbonation. Muddy flavours - messed up yeast with some slight orange zest. Not sure what to make of this - it’s certainly drinkable, but there’s not a lot of interest or character and certainly few pleasure points. But it’s not bad, it does work in its own way, and there is some interest. It’s like a saison heading toward a lambic, but not getting there. The 9% alcohol is totally wasted - the same sort of texture and flavour could be created under 5% - even under 4%. Difficult to give this any sort of decent score - but it doesn’t deserve a really low score either. bhensonb (4345), Woodland, California, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | May 30, 2008 Bottle. Pale gold color with a three finger white head. Aroma is light stone fruit and mild peppery spice. Near medium body with chewy carbonation. Flavor is light caramel, spicey hop, light stone fruit juice. Finishes a bit citric around the edges. Flavorful enough to engage the attention. Didn’t really notice the alcohol. Good job there. faroeviking (6119), BjórtjóðveldiðBjórheimBjórsins, Faroe Islands

Nice aroma of sweet ripe fruits with some yeast. Good lightly sparkling mouthfeel. The flavour has a good ripe fruitiness with a soft bitterness, caramel and alcohol. Dry alco fruity finish.
