joss (3076), Garching b. München, Germany May 5, 2008 Bottle. Grainy, somewhat buttery aroma. Cloudy orange amber, eggshell cream. Fruity, a good hit diacetyl herbal, light aromatic and grassy hops. Medium to light body, feels a bit flat. Hit the shelves too early I think, I’ll let the rest of the bottles fermant a bit more in the bottles, that should take care of the off-flavors

Deep golden colour, low head. Grassy pale malty aroma with suggestions of strong wort, that is light almondy. Good juicy mouthfeel, with grassy hops on low levels and low bitter. Feels a bit weak to be a bock.

A bit hazy yellow color, small white head. Yeasty, barnyardish, a bit fruity nose. Citrusy, fruity, apple-like flavor. Propably not very clean. thewolf (3392), Kolding, Denmark Jul 13, 2008 Bottle @ the RBESG08 Grand Tasting.
Pours muddy, pale golden with a nice, small, creamy, off-white head. Aroma has sweet malts, some cardboard and apple notes. Thin and watery - how can a 7 % beer be this thin?? Flavour is boring, sweet and sugary. Was this made on 70 % white table sugar and 30 % spray-malt? Boring.... harrisoni (4896), Ashford, Kent, Kent, England Jul 11, 2008 Bottle at RBESG Grand Tasting 2008. Hazy gold, thin off white head. That’s not much better than the helles. Not a great lager either. ogivlado (2173), Zagreb, Croatia Jul 10, 2008 swing top bottle (500ml). -RBESG2008, Grand Tasting.
Honey yellow coloured, medium sized white head, odd grainy vegetable nose. Sweet malty, grainy and sugary taste with few alcohol hints. Low bitterness, alcohol is well hidden.
