Bottle, thanks to Daknole. Mahogany-copper color. Aroma of the skins of overripe apples. Tan head. A little phenolic. Slight bubble gum. Bland and boring with imbalanced flavor, redeemed by being slightly bready.

Hazy dull amber. Has a fairly dull aroma - a little caramel, maybe some enoki mushroom. Fairly firm, has a decent caramel note, but it’s no prize.

Bottle from Glouglouburp. Cloudy amber pour with very little head. Smells like a handful of pennies mixed wtih some caramel malt. Flavor is malty with a tiny hop profile and some tartness. Just ok here.

341ml bottle brassin #1, Poured dark amber with medium head. Aroma is quite fruity. Maybe some cherries, a bit of hop. Nice rich aroma. Taste is much like aroma, bit hoppy on the finish. Very enjoyable beer. Rating #80

Bouteille de 341 ml. Nos yeux observent une bière de couleur rouge acajou et un col de mousse modeste qui tient bien. Au nez on découvre des arômes de vieux caramel, de bonbon au sucre et de houblon floral. En bouche le corps est rond avce une effervescence moyenne. On goûte des saveurs de grain caramélisés, de grain torréfiés avec une finale une amertume persistante.

341ml. bottle bought at La Barick.The color is a dark copper with a thin beige head. The taste and aroma are of hops. Also in the taste is sweet toffe or caramel and a nice light bitter finish

Intéressante bière qui offre des saveurs puissantes opposées mais bien balancées: il y a le côté sucré, notamment dans l’arôme, tout à fait remarquable, et dans les saveurs de sirop d’érable et de sucre d’orge, et le côté très houblonné, avec une amertume prononcée. Un peu difficile à trouver (Grand Duc, Peluso et ?) mais, surtout en considérant son bas prix de 2,69 $ au Grand Duc, c’est une bière qui, à son deuxième essai, pourrait devenir une de mes régulières... Bravo pour celle-là, Bièropholie!

[Bottle] Pours a hazy caramel with a small tan head. Aroma is a little funny with a little bit of frozen veggies, caramel, and lager yeast. Flavor is a bit nutty - tastes almost like a pecan turtle. Significant saltiness, and some caramel.
