Notes of cedar with a slight sourness. Kind of different. Mildly hazy copper color with an off-white head. Very hoppy buttery/spicy hoppiness to start. Finishes with a strange mild sourness. Weird for an IPA Not digging this beer at all. rudolf (1774), Buffalo, New York, USA

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jul 3, 2005 One dimensional bitter even astringent IPA, lace, amber, noticeable cascade aroma, quality and freshness, but not exceptional. I did not find the balance here. Significant carbonation. Weaker link in their lineup. Did not work at all for me today, maybe another day. JohnC (2268), Mission Viejo, California, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 28, 2005 thanks to martinT. This pours a clear amber, with a minimal head. The initial flavor is a bit fizzy, but it calms down. Hoppy, dry, those are the key words to describe the taste. Boutip (2367), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 27, 2005 Bottle: Poured a hazy brown color ale with a huge bubbly head with average retention. Aroma of dry hops and with some roasted malt. Taste kind of surprise me since I thought that Cascade hops were more floral and sweet then bitter but this is still very enjoyable nonetheless. Another fine beer from Bieropholie and a nice experiment. TaktikMTL (2786), Montréal-Nord, Quebec, Canada

Apparence: Couleur ambrée voilée. Mince col beige mousseux. Faible densité des bulles. Large dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Goût de céréales et de caramel. Long arrière goût. Palette: Les corps est plein avec une texture minérale. Arrière goût de caramel. Moyenne effervescence en bouche. (Rating #190) Mads Langtved (2246), Copenhagen K, Denmark
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 16, 2005 Cloudy orange. No big head. This is much better than the normal IPA. No unpleasant artificial notes. A classic bitter, fruity IPA. Ungstrup (15245), Frederiksberg, Denmark
