Clear copper with a small foamy off-white head. Aroma of average citrus hops, with wheat, rye and oats. Hops more forefront in the taste, citrus and very lightly resiny, a little of the UK bitter flavour mixed in, backed up decently by workmanlike light roast malt and a bit of rye grain. Mouthfeel lightly fizzy and astringent, maybe a tad watery - overall a pretty solid mild IPA - especially from Canada-east. tupalev (2617), Waterloo, Ontario, Canada

Sweet citrus hop aroma. copper with a small white head. Decent hop taste, tingly, tea-like, with some english IPA characteristics. A decent beer with a nice subtle hop taste a sweet linger - just nothing really jumps out at you. A good session beer. 3Vandoo (16), Quebec, Canada
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 1, 2006 A nice copper beer with some amber in it, not a great head compared to the other Bieropholie’s IPA but a fair one. A very oily body, that shows a nice constancy. Smell is very floral, citrus, actually very cascade hops since the name of the beer.
Taste is bitter, sharp and clear, fruity, citrus with a very fresh and cut taste. Paskal (146), La Prairie, Quebec, Canada

Dark amber body with an initial frothy beige head, that receds to a fine bubbly coat. Immediate blast of cascade hops in the nostrils, with faint pine and caramel malt. Nice balance of aromas. Great hoppy bite, pine needles, and semi-sweet malt to balance. Slightly thin and watery on the finish, but all in all, a great example of an IPA. Merci Francois! Merci! | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 4, 2006 Deep orange amber ale with a thick off-white head. Lacing. Light spicey pungeant hops with caramel malts in aroma. In mouth, classy hops, floral and long in mouth, pleasing, with citrusy notes, herbal, almost minty. Rich hops, a bit thin, but quaffable. 1FastSTi (2569), Glendale, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Jan 2, 2006 Bottle from Secret Santa. The beer pours to a deep amber body that’s lightly hazy and has a thick, rocky beige head. The aroma is pretty hoppy. Citrus and what I would say is a nutty pine hop. Almost like this is a brown ale that’s been hopped. The flavor is leafy and bitter. Noticeable caramel malts and light citrus hops. Mostly herbs and leafy hops, however. Something is strange in it, however. The palate is medium bodied, bitter, oily, almost chewy. Not what I look for in an IPA. GiBrew (171), Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada

Cloudy, red in colour with a very nice off-white frothy head. Aroma is very pleasant: Sweet grass, citrus fruits and notes of pine. Grapefruit, caramel and roasted malt flavours with a very pleasant bitter finish.
