Mmmm....I love these Bieropholie IPAs. Sweet caramel malt hits me first as I bring this rich dark copperfrothy topped beer toward me. Some citrus edginess creeps in but it can’t overcome the toasty malts. Grapefruit freshnessness mixes with sweet warming touches and linger, coating the mouth nicely.

Hazed dark copper color with a tall head of light tan bubbles. Mildly oxidized hops in the aromas, along with mild earthy caramel and citrus. rather balance brew, but the malt is not really found, there is a small amount of sweetness, but nearly a brown sugar type. Another very dry IPA. Mild dry malt finish. Some more green hops late. This one gains some more character as it warms. Light fruit and mild peat malt. Another easy drinking IPA from beerbuzzmontreal.

Deep ruby red colour, tan-yellow head. Malty aroma caramel, toast, light plummy fruit mixed with fresh citrusy hops, grapefruit, and a touch of pine. Flavour is well balanced, citrusy hops, a touch of pinyness and resin mixed with sweet toffeeish malt. Light vanilla and woody character add complexity. Very good.

Amber w/ a clear, syrupy haze. Small finger of beige foam. Clean aroma of grapefruit, pine, caramel, brown sugar, & toffee. Full-bodied, resiny feel. Flavour is balanced--sufficiently bitter but well-supported. A well-structured, well-made brew.

Amber colored brew with creamy medium sized head. Mild hoppy nose but not as refreshing one would hope. Bitter front with creamy texture. Average .Lacking crispness and smoothness.

Bottle...RBSG2005... Cloudy copper ale with a small, off-white head. Grapefruit, caramel and a hint of smoke make up the aroma. Moderately bitter with notes of grapefruit, toffee and orange peel. Medium-bodied and creamy with sparkling carbonation. Lengthy, casually bitter, dry finish.

Bottle sampled @ RBSG 05’ (Montréal) Grand Tasting
Copper color, white head, light lacing. Nose of light [but fresh] hops, sweet, creamy and lots of malts too. The flavor is balanced, lightly smoky. Finishes creamy, good, not very thought provoking, just easy drinking.
