| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 13, 2005 Copper-red hue is crowned by a great fully lasting 2-inch off-white foam, sticking to the glass and supported by ample carbonation. Very green nature, the hops are very woody, leafy, citrusy. Martin got the grapefruit’s subtlety right, this is all cascade and it would not have been my first guess at the hops used. It does have a good malt backbone though, smooth, earthy and honey reminiscent. Efficient carbonation level fits the medium body aptly. Bitter finish, well balanced. A globally well made beer devoid of flaws and typical of bièropholie’s high standards. hopscotch (5534), Vero Beach, Florida, USA
