Commercial Description:
The sister of Bièropholie IPA. The Bièropholie IPA, Golding and Cascade are the same beer. Only the hops are changed.

The first batch was made in March 2004 at Express-Broue.

The second batch was made in April 2005 at the brewery Le Chaudron.

The third batch (V.3) was made in mid-December 2005 and bottled end of February... Because of a very bad producing procedure, It was not autorised for sale by Bièropholie but was sold anyway by the contract brewery.

(Bottle 34,1 cl) Hazy, amber golden with a dense, off-white head. Aroma of caramel and aroma hops. Medium body with lightly burned malt notes and a rather raw bitterness. Quite a brutal IPA. Courtesy of Siroy. 120207

355 mL bottle from La Trappe à Fromage.

App.: Pours a hazy reddish-copper with a small, yellowish head. Aroma: A nice combination of candy, cotton candy and citrusy/piney hops. A bit fruity when warmed. The sweetness overpowers the hops somewhat. Palate: Med. body with somewhat aggressive carbonation. Flav.: A bit of that malty sweetness, more of the piney hops, a touch woody. On swallowing, the piney hops takes the lead from the malts, but they are there. Some sweetness and dried dark fruits and a decent bitter finish.

Again, a little too sweet for my tastes, but not bad.

Bottle from Paul (blankboy) Thanks. Pours out a dark brown color with a thick tan head. Smell is hops, some grapefruit, but mostly a mild hop and malt flavor. Taste is smooth and refreshing, some bready flavors. Could have used a little more dry hoping to more pronouce the cascades, but still, nice beer. Thanks Paul!

Bottle. Clear red amber color and thin beige head. Hops, malt and caramel aroma. Taste of malt caramel and alcohol finish, nice palate.

Bravo Bièropholie this is a great I.P.A. It has a nice dark and clear amber color, the taste of malt and caramel is very present. It leaves a good aftertaste in the mouth. It is a do again.
