| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 26, 2006 Updated: Jun 12, 2006341ml bottle. Poors a clear amber color with a decent head. Of the 4 Bièropholie IPAs (IPA, Golding, Cascade, Casacade Plus) this one ranks third. The mouthfeel is a bit too caramel compared to the other 3 and the bitterness is no as punchy. I recommend to drink your Goldings as soon as possible. At a recent taste test we compared fresh Goldings and 1 year old Goldings and the old ones did not do well at all. Age and maturity do not always come together, sometimes like with my cousin Louis you just get the age. 3Vandoo (16), Quebec, Canada
| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Feb 1, 2006 A deep copper beer with some lights of amber going in, a nice creamy head that stays all the time. A very hoppish smell escorts this beer, golding hops, hoppy oily smells. The taste is very sharp and bitter, a shy maltish is present with caramel flavours that comes finish that beer, but the Golding hop is quite omnipresent. Even if the Golding’s hop gives me stomachaches, I don’t mind some suffering to taste this beer! Siroy (220), Montreal, Quebec, Canada

Rich amber color and has a pleasant high tan head with a very good retention.
Biscuit malt, Resinous/earthy hops. Lower global bitterness then the cascade.

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 2, 2005 bottle. thanks beerhugger. pours a deep, hazy, brown copper with a fluffy, creamy, off-white head. aroma has yeast, creamy malt, and a hop component that is very mild compared to the other IPAs from Bièropholie...it’s more yeast than anything though. The body seemed a bit hot at times and is very yeasty. light bitterness with lots of creamy sweet malt. not really my style of IPA and I’d much rather have one of the other Bièropholie IPAs...but still, it’s pretty good.
