Commercial Description:
The sister of Bièropholie IPA. The Bièropholie IPA, Golding and Cascade are the same beer. Only the hops are changed.

The first batch was made in March 2004 at Express-Broue.

The second batch was made in April 2005 at the brewery Le Chaudron.

The third batch (V.3) was made in mid-December 2005 and bottled end of February... Because of a very bad producing procedure, It was not autorised for sale by Bièropholie but was sold anyway by the contract brewery.

Bottle: Hazy brown, orange, ruby with a large rocky head and nice lacing, aroma has buscuits, spicy earthy hops, starts and ends lightly bitter with a nice malty aftertaste. Thanks MartinT.

Sophisticated appeareance with an appropriate carbonatation and a good head retention. The taste is eclectic. Strong bitterness and heavy malt but not balance together.

Bottled. Amber coloured. Sweet fruits in the aroma. Sweet and light flavour with a touch of acidity. Not very hoppy. No typical golding flavour.

Aroma of sweet cherry malt and slight perfumy hop flowers. Cloudy brownish amber in appearance with thick, white frothy head. Zingy lemony hop flavor with a solid caramel malt base. Fairly bubbly, with a winey/alcohol finish. Thanks to radiomgb for the sample.

Bottle acquired in trade with tiggmtl (thanks!). Poured a dark reddish-amber color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas of flowers, caramel, and pepper. Taste of the same with light grapefruit. Another solid IPA from this brewery.

2005 bottle from Depanneur Peluso. Beautiful deep amber-orange, light brown shades and a faded copper-gold tinge on the edges. Large yellow head is fairly well-retained and fades to a ring. Smells of caramel, lightly floral hops, rich toffee, yet some sweet, dried hay, rich warmed honey. Very hard to pinpoint everything in the aroma, for me. Flavor begins with more floral notes, hints of spicy perfume-like notes, with toffee right away, flowers, soft, yet noticeable bitterness. Flowery, lightly bitter finish, bits of caramel. Short and dry, mostly. Medium body. Soft carbonation, bit watery, though not in a bad way.

Dark amber-orange color, big thick tan colored lacy head, floral hop, nutty, malted caramel aromas follow through on a medium-bodied palate, sweet caramel malt, nutty, floral in a soft aftertaste of malt and hops finish.
