No marks at the top and 7.7%.<br /> 2007 vintage: Maniacs asked for a thicker version. Here it is. 12 ounce bottle. Unknown vintage- might be a 2006 vintage from the RB description. Pours inky black, slightly chunky head. Solid mocha ring of lacing. Nose- smokey, lactic, a tad burnt and overall just plain funky. Taste- anise, quite sour and tangy, dark chocolate, chalk with moderate carbonation and body. Finish is dry roast, nuts and stewed prunes. Very little sweetness to speak of in this brew. A difficult brew to figure out. Unique? Yes. A top shelf impy stout? Perhaps not.

Pitch black robe with moka head. Roasted malt aroma then chocolate and coffee. Smooth but strong bitter taste. Some dark fruit are hidden in this chocolate treat.

[Bottle] Pours deep black with a small tan head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is sort of soy saucey with some sweet and roasted malts. Flavor retains the saltiness with a touch of astringency, plenty of sweetness, and some alcohol. Maybe this one just didn’t travel well.

2007: Extremement cremeuse et chocolater. J ai vraiment adorer celle-ci. Extremely creamy and chocolaty. I enjoyed this one very much! I was expecting something like the 2007. But fits more the impy stout than the previous year. Roastiness is more evident, would maybe need more hops to balance.

Juste wow!

1000th rating of the year!!! 06 vintgage I think12oz Bottle likely from glougoburb. Thanks Dany. Shared with my girlfriend Cyn post wet hop fest. Pours black with an extremely rich brown head. Nose is sweet with a lot of chocolate, and hints of alcohol. Taste is sweet and as such very alcoholic tasting with notes of chocolate. Strange with goods and bads.
