Commercial Description:
A copper-colored beer, a jewel scintillating in your glass, complex hop aromas, malt up the ying-yang and an aftertaste which endlessly proliferates a wise mix of hops. In short, the exact contrary of a "Dry". The "With Aftertaste" mentioned on the bottle is not an error in marketing judgment. It is a voluntary and defiant, non-traditional piece of counter-marketing. A kind of warning to "Dry" lovers; "Don't touch this! This is not for you!" In the future, we may only indicate "With taste", which could be more precise and less defiant. All in all, you'll love it.

bottle. I tried this at Mondial in June but my rating was a little bit sparse on details so I thought I’d wait until I got a better sample...and here I am. Body is a deep copper-orange with a luscious off-white frothy head and leaving sheets of sticky lace. yeast sediment. Plentiful hop aroma, resiny juicy hops with a hearty underlying biscuit malt structure. a slight metallic note too. This is certainly well-hopped, big leafy hops with a long lingering finish. I think there is some semblance of balance through the bready malts though it doesn’t quite cover it. Still a very tasty brew that I could drink time and time again.

Deep amber body that supports a tall, creamy, off-white head. Piney aroma with some yeast. Good sweet malt and bitter hops, well balanced with a long, dry, bitter finish. Not too shabby overall.

Beautiful shining dark amber colour, actually closer to a copper color. The head is quite large and lasting with an off-white colour. Light chocolate notes at the front of the nose, lightly fruity with a nice slightly citrusy tinge. Very smooth body with a nice choclatey sweetness at the front that moves quickly into a citrusy bitterness that lasts till the end. The hops work well with the malt with a nice sweetness that backs up an otherwise pretty bitter beer. I like.

Pour is deep amber with a nice wispy tan head...smell is sweet with malts, caramel, bread, some citrus...taste is amazing because the difference a single hop can make...looks identical to their Cascade, but tastes and smell totally different...taste is malty sweet up front with a nice well balanced bitterness at the back...just enough to clean up the sweetness...clean dry finish...

(341ml Bottle) Big beige head atop a clear copper body. Aroma is medium sweet, caramel, cookie dough. Taste is moderately sweet, caramel, herbal, grapefruit, tangerine. Medium body, some resin. Nicely balanced.

Reddish brown. Sweet cherry and red wine aroma. Very woodsy easrty piney - you know, rustic. Pleasent undertones of caramel and toffee. Very earthy throughout. Not particularly challanging, but not bad. Thanks Springslicker.

Malt and hop aroma. Spicy hop start to the flavour. Rough edged hop middle. Light body at the finish but the hops are lasting. Overall the hops are a little harsh. You get used to it halfway through the first glass and can find the sweetness underneath. Still doesn’t have the tastiness that makes you want a second.
