| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 19, 2004 Bottle. Brownish-gold with a full, white, foamy head that leaves good lacing. Aroma has biscuity malts, grassy hops, and a touch of sulphur. Light body with a clean mouthfeel and a brisk carbonation. Crisp, biscuity maltiness up front, with perhaps a hint of caramel sweetness, too, followed by a sharp, snappy, grassy hop character that lingers on through the dry aftertaste. Another solid beer from Bičropholie. JPDIPSO (4944), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jul 13, 2004 Light golden color with a tall off white head. Lots of fine lace. Initial vegitable aromas replaced by a wet malt and lightly herbal hops aroma (quite typical of the eastern countries that are implied by the name). Dry grain and light wood flavors - again quite typical of the monicer. Finish is lightly sweet and again slightly woody. Seems to have more of the european strong lager qualities than a bohemian pils. An interesting rate provided via Rastacouere. Sham (1846), Seattle, Washington, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 12, 2004 Clear gold, white head and a light spotty lacing. Pils malts, hay or grass, citrus hops, malty and hints of oatmeal. Base malts again (obviously) are mostly pils but bigger. Sour citrus, maybe lemons or bitter orange. Light and refreshing. Malty hoppy, alcohol laced finish. Good finish to the night! BückDich (4857), McCall, Idaho, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 12, 2004 Yellow gold clear, light head & lacing. Aroma is very crisp & grassy with hops and light alcohol. Flavor is full of pilsner malts and a neutral flavor. Finishes good, dry & balanced. Na Zdravi! jerc (3964), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 6, 2004 Pale yellow body with a slight brownish hue to it. Nice bubbly white head. Aroma is hoppy with lots of grassy notes. Frlavour is fairly bitter, with the sweetness of the malt making only brief appearances mostly in the finish and aftertaste. Long lingering hop bitterness. Nice beer that seems a bit strange at times. Palate is average, very nice for the style. radiomgb (2073), Peterborough, Ontario, Canada
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 24, 2004 Golden in colour, large rocky white head. Lots of hops in the aroma along with grass and bread. Flavour was incredibly smooth, lots of hops, zesty, very well balanced with the malt and bitter. Medium body, high carbonation. Finishes with a moderate bitterness and long. Absolutly amazing, this brewery can’t do anything wrong it seems. DaSilky1 (2031), San Diego, California, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 15/20 | Jun 20, 2004 poured a dark orangish gold color with a gigantic mountainous head...zesty hops alongside doughy malts make the aroma quite nice...doughy malt flavors with definite hop bitterness and a touch of alcohol. Some subtle sweet orange flavors too. Very full bodied for a pilsner...as mealish as a pilsner gets IMO, in fact, I am quite impressed with this brew. I wish all pilsners tasted like this. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 20, 2004 Pours nice thick, white creamy head. Gold , full of live brew . Sweet malt at front, hopps follows the act. Medium body, more bitter than Czech counterpart. Slightly dry at end. I can notice true continental, malt but it was not exposed as well as I hoped for.
