1er brassin un peu faible en gaz. Sinon c’est une triple bien réussi. Alcool discret. Légère, excellente.

I heard that the first batch was sort of a disaster because of the obvious lack of carbonatation. The second batch is fine on that point. But, at first sight, something seems wrong with the color. A usual triple is, to my knowledge, a yellowish, slightly troubled beer. This one is brown, barely clearer than the Double by Bieropholie. I wonder if this is intended. Also, it does not taste as a triple to me... But I really think it is nevertheless a good beer, sweet, fruity, with not much bitterness and, overall, very enjoyable.

341ml bottle, brassin #2 in trappist glass. Poured dark amber, tiny head. Aroma is caramel, hops, dry fruits, cherries, alcohol and a hint of anice or some other spice. Warming effet on the finish. Quite low carbonation. Taste is slight hops, alcohol, hint of cherries. Quite weird beer. Not the color of a usual trippel, taste like a belgian strong with lot more hoppiness than usual belgians. That being said, this beer is surprisingly good and very enjoyable. Nice surprise. Considering its rating.Could rate higher but need another sample to be sure. Rating #70

Shared with Pyrozoid. Hazy amber/copper poor with a sticky off-white head. Aromas of brown sugar, caramel, floral, citrus notes and yeast. Very evenly balanced mouthfeel, medium carbonation. Nice hoppy and spicy notes... added malty flavors. Overall very impressed again by Bieropholie’s attempt at a "Tripel". Doesnt fit entirely the "tripel" profil... but still very good

My bottle (341ml) shared with HogTownHarry & garthicus -- c/o Viper666. Pours a hazy orange-amber with an average size off-white head. Aroma: Like a nice Triple with a good amount of hops added. Flavour of toasted malt, spices, herbal hops, dark fruit and alcohol. Medium bodied. Really good, I’m not sure this is really on style (it’s not as sweet for one thing) but I quite like it.

(Rating #2139)
