The nose is sweet and fruity with a good amount of Belgian yeast and wheat notes. Banana, clove, lightly sugary sweet, toast, and wheat. Some orange as well. Decent carbonation, maybe a little overly sweet for my liking but not bad at all. BuckeyeBoy (1674), Boise, Idaho, USA

A very nice aroma of sweet fruit. Tast was more of the fruit and a nice mix of thick malts. A nice thick wheat. Tasty after4ever (2809), Brier, Washington, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Dec 12, 2008 Draft at the Duck Island. Cloudy dark amber with garnet highlights under a dense, towering tan head. Big sweet red apple nose. Creamy medium body, plenty of carb presence. Refreshing and bracing. The apple juice and apple skin tartness really take over on the mid-palate. This beer is designed for people who want something much simpler and more approachable than what I typically reach for. It is made quite well, but has a bit too much apple juice character to really be my thing. BrewDad (2370), Olympia, Washington, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 11, 2008 Appealing, warm, tangerine hue with faded head. Smells and tastes reminiscent of a German wheat with emphasis on musky clove. Quite phenolic, body is a tad flat. A hint of bubblegum on the palate. Bradrcr (781), Renton, Washington, USA

8/12/08 On draught at the brewery. Aroma is highly fruity bubblegum with peppery and somewhat plasticy phenols to support. Appearance is hazy reddish gold with a well maintained cream colored head. Flavor is fruity bubblegum forward, but not too sweet. Bittering is medium-strong and spritzy, going right into mouthfeel. This is medium-full bodied with medium carbonation. Overall, sweet and complex, a good beer for people that aren’t normally solid beer drinkers.
