Mar 31, 2009 Pitch black with suitable brown, creamed, lather top. Deep, dirty coffee grain roastiness, indicative of a foreign export style stout. Flavor is only mildly roasty and fairly hopped, with some citrusy notes present. Bitter hop and roast finish.

Mar 29, 2009 3/28/09 on tap at the brewery. Aroma is creamy roast with no hop character. Appearance is very dark brown with a well maintained tan head. Flavor is heavy toast forward, slightly sour, with a moderate buttering. Mouthfeel is full bodied, creamy, with an acrid malt texture. Overall, a touch harsh, but great for rich malt fans.

Feb 26, 2009 Draft. Black with a tan head. Good blackened malt and coffee aromas. Smooth, rich body. Good coffee and sweet mocha flavors with some dry blackened malts. A good session stout.

Jan 5, 2009 On Nitro Tap At Big Al Brewery West Seattle Pours out a dark brown topped with a small tan head. A tasty aroma of roast malt and coffee. Tast was of sweet pit fruit and coffee. The dark roast malts make this one.
