Clear body and a yellow / amber color when poured from bottle to pint glass. Average maltiness & average hop flavors. Actually this is closer to an IPA than would have thought. Medium body and a creamy texture and soft carbonation. FunkyBrewster (536), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 28, 2009 12 oz bottle. Pours medium golden with a thick rocky off white head. Aroma is a blend of sweet caramel and toffee malts, and some piney lightly spicy hops. A little bit funky, maybe some metallic character. Flavor starts with a sweet and lightly bready. Quickly gains some sharp piney malts, maybe a hint of citric fruits, but mainly the earthy and spicy. The metallic character comes in again towards the finish which is a bit bland and bitter, but not awful. Medium body and a fizzy carbonation. Easy drinking and good to just drink whilst hanging douglas88 (1679), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA

A sweet citrus hoppy nose, dry biscuit malts. A nice very drinkable flavor, clean and very smooth; citrus hops. Very enjoyable. On a night with some mediocre beer, this was nice. twindog (98), Hampstead, Maryland, USA

Aroma is malty and slightly sweet. A medium bodied, malty and fairly hoppy American Pale Ale (APA). Malts are sweet but are punched out by the hops. It well balanced. A little light flavors are bold, with a touch of citrus and pine. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
