Dec 23, 2009 Draft @ Big Bear. Pours clear gold with a white head. Nose is slight malt with lots of Blueberry extract. Almost pulpy blueberry. Flavor is light blueberry, some lager, and maybe a breadiness. Finish lingers with blueberry. They even serve this bad boy with blueberries in it. No me gusta. I’ll take the stout, thanks.

Nov 1, 2008 Poured up on tap at the brewpub gold with thin off white head. It smells of all blueberry extract syrup and really nothing else. This doesn’t bode well for the flavor. The taste is full on blueberry extract syrupy sweetness and only has hints of malts and vague hops way in the background. May as well be a blueberry soda. Not that great.

Nov 1, 2008 Draft... Clear straw-colored lager with a mid-sized, creamy, white head. Great retention. The aroma offers a subtle note of fresh blueberries. Light-bodied with lively carbonation. Sweet and fruity with plenty of blueberry essence. Negligible bitterness. Finishes crisp and somewhat refreshing. The blueberries thrown in are a nice touch.

Oct 23, 2008 Hazy pale golden with blueberries dropped in. Lacing. Mild, fruity, spritzy, fruit soda aroma, sweet-tart. Soft mouthfeel. Sweet throughout including the finish, which is syrupy but not offensive. Soda water.

Jun 14, 2008 Polar Light with blueberries. Cloudy dull straw colour. The aroma is big blueberry. The flavour is sweetish with fresh, lively blueberry notes. Clean, slightly acidic finish.

Jun 11, 2008 I have had this a few times and I like it considering it is a light beer. Blueberries are in the background. Smooth flavor and goes down nice.

Mar 24, 2008 one of the few blueberry beers I actually enjoyed... light colored... obviously blueberry aroma... not too over powering blueberry taste like most blueberry beers.

May 18, 2007 On tap. Medium to pale yellow color. Just a hint of blueberries in the aroma, but they are everywhere in the taste, even hanging around longer on the palate than most pale lagers. Not a bad beer, and pretty smooth drinking, but blueberry beers definitely aren’t for me. A nice touch of the brewery is that they throw real blueberries in the glass as a garnish.
