daknole (852), Plantation, Florida, USA Jun 28, 2008 Amber color. Malty, breadlike aroma. Flavor of malts, caramel, sweet grain. Beer has very little hops on the finish, but not a bad beer. Oakes (6979), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Jun 14, 2008 Bright amber colour. Fruity, lightly toasty nose. Toasty palate with caramel accents. The two play off of each other, with the caramel winning out for a sweet finish. unclemattie (1621), Georgia, USA Apr 2, 2008 Sampler. Clear amber color. Quickly dissipating head. Aroma of caramel malt. Flavor is sweet malt. Followed by a medium bitterness. Very balanced. killedge (26), Miami, Florida, USA Mar 24, 2008 thin red color... bready aroma with hints of caramel... kind of thin compared to most reds.. good taste of sweet malts and a bit of bread flavor.. finishes with bit of hops that quickly dissipates Ibrew2or3 (1756), Safety Harbor, Florida, USA Mar 12, 2008 Pours a deep monotonically copper with weak off white head. The aroma is on the light side emitting roasted malts, caramel, some biscuit and faint breadiness. There may also be the faintest hint of citrus hops too. The taste is kind of sweet malts and roasted malts mixed with caramel creating almost a sweet citrus flavor aided by mild citrus hop flavor and faint citrus hop bitterness, if there is any at all. It could just be faint malt astringency. Into the finish I get more mild caramel and sweet malts that fizzle out into the finish.
