Beershine (1207), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Aug 4, 2008 Draught at brewpub. Pale gold, slight haze, no head, served ice cold. Fresh, slightly sweet and yeasty nose but not overly fruity. More like white wine--chardonnay? Very bright and inviting, lacking in banana or bubblegum. Quaffable but bubbly, Dry, firm body with lots of fun fruity character and an astringent finish that is long and thin at the same time. Not spicy or sticky. Solid, well-made, good FL fodder, a good surprise. Oakes (6819), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Jul 2, 2008 Dull beige, only somewhat opaque. No head and of course it was served frozen. The aroma is lightly spicy, lightly yoghurty with both oaty and wheaty nuances. Fairly spicy body - lots of coriander, pepper, orangey notes. The body is reasonably full, with distinct oaty smoothness. soicanbreathe (8), Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA does not count Jun 29, 2008 Certainly not the best belgian white Ive tasted, it was a little on the weak side, it left something to be desired on the finish. daknole (644), Plantation, Florida, USA Jun 28, 2008 Not a bad white beer. Not great either. Cloudy pour with no head by the time it arrived at my table. Aromas of bananas, yeast, bread. Flavor was much of the same with a toch of sweetness. Of the 8 I tried this was probably my favorite along with the pale ale.
