Mar 16, 2009 Bottle from the Otown throwdown. Pours nearly a black color wtih a beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, lots of coffee and more coffee. Flavor is nice, but the coffee steals away from the underlying brew a bit...however that is A OK by me. Love the coffee. A bit thin but still good.

Mar 15, 2009 C&PLYFOTD: Bottle, courtesy dchmela. Brownish red pour, slick oily lacing. Nose has dark coffee, dry hoppy bitterness. Flavor has slight dry roasted coffee, slight chocolate, and not much else in the way of complexity. Slightly drinkable, but kinda hindered overall by its boringness.

Feb 27, 2009 650 ml, bottle 1840 of 5000. 8% abv. Aroma is coffee with some slight dark chocolate. Flavor is the same, with some caramel and light charred wood. Medium body is lightly carbonated, roasty-dry, but a bit too watery. Nice frosty lacing.
