650 ml, bottle 1840 of 5000. 8% abv. Aroma is coffee with some slight dark chocolate. Flavor is the same, with some caramel and light charred wood. Medium body is lightly carbonated, roasty-dry, but a bit too watery. Nice frosty lacing.

22. Didn’t ask who brought this one, unfortunately. Ebony black.burnt tan head. Enormous coffee and chocolatey nose. Creamy medium body. Enormous acetic coffee mid-palate. Long coffee finish.

bottle in trade from Emacgee. Almost black in color with a tan head. Aroma of coffee, roast, light molasses, and chocolate. Taste: Coffee is in the forefront but it’s not overly bitter or acidic, also has a touch of dry chocolate, light molasses- coffee gives it an overall dry feel but has enough body to back it up. Finishes with some lingering mild coffee bitterness and some roast. Good stuff.

Bottle shared by goldtwins. Dark black-brown beer with a thin tan head. Aroma is fairly coffeeish with lots of rich cocoa and some light berryish fruit. Softly charred aroma as well. Soft and fruity with a nice rich sweetness. Nice coffeeish flavour with a lingering chocolate and toasted maltiness. A touch of earthy herbal hoppiness on the back. No complaints here... another tasty brew.

Botle courtesy of durhambeer. Pours dark brown with a tan pronounced head. Smells of roasted malt, coffee, nutty, earthy. Tastes of roasted malt, coffee, some chocolate, tarte hints. NIcely balanced.

Bottle #1731, shared by NachlamSie. Pours black with small tan head. The aroma is rich, smooth coffee with some roasted grain and even a hint of chicory and a little bit of nut and chocolate. The flavor is dark, roasty coffee with some nutty malt. It gets nuttier toward the finish, and has a pleasant roastiness throughout. A little bit of ashy bitterness accompanies the finish, and leaves a nice coffee aftertaste. Pretty good stuff.

Poured a very dark brown-copper color with a ruby edge and brown head. The aroma was full of roasted malt and coffee but had some doughy notes and a hint of diacetyl. Roasted malt flavor with nice notes of coffee and chocolate. Medium bodied and crisp. Touch of chalkiness on the finish.

Bottle courtesy of either goldtwins or JoeMcphee, I forgot to ask! Pours deep black with a tan head. Very pleasant aroma of freshly brewed coffee with some notes of roasted malt and chocolate. The flavor is again dominated by fresh coffee with some roasted malt and a hint of chocolate. Very mild bitterness at the end with a smooth finish. Actually, the finish is surprisingly smooth given the strength of the coffee - there is no coffee bitterness to speak of. Tasty and enjoyable.
