Aroma of coffee and chocolate, with the chocolate being a bit more pronounced. More chocolate in the flavor than I expected, with a lot of coffee, too. Maybe a hint of red wine in the finish. As it warm, a lot of fruit character comes out. . It went nicely with chocolate covered blueberries. Bottle 2331 of 5000. Cletus (5058), Connecticut, USA

Pours deep black with a tan head. Very pleasant aroma of freshly brewed coffee with some notes of roasted malt and chocolate. The flavor is again dominated by fresh coffee with some roasted malt and a hint of chocolate. Very mild bitterness at the end with a smooth finish. Actually, the finish is surprisingly smooth given the strength of the coffee - there is no coffee bitterness to speak of. Tasty and enjoyable. The aroma is rich, smooth coffee with some roasted grain and even a hint of chicory and a little bit of nut and chocolate. The flavor is dark, roasty coffee with some nutty malt. It gets nuttier toward the finish, and has a pleasant roastiness throughout. A little bit of ashy bitterness accompanies the finish, and leaves a nice coffee aftertaste. Pretty good stuff. wilkie (1191), Raleigh, North Carolina, USA
