Apr 23, 2007 I was expecting something called "Angry Angel" to be some sort of Abbey Beer or something like that, so I was a bit surprised when it was a Pils. But It was a very tasty pils, with smooth corny flavors meldiing nicely with a crisp assertive hop finish. Sampled at 2007 Hickory Hops.

Apr 21, 2007 Updated: Apr 24, 2007Pours a clean golden straw with a pillowy head of bleached white. Aromas were crisp with a solid German Noble fragrance. Very sharp. 100% Hallertau utilized. Flavors are snappy and thirst-quenching with a sharp hop kick following a bready malt base. Solid body and quite drinkable. Solid stab at the style.

Mar 19, 2007 The aroma was fruity with a citrusy hop character and a lightly spicy and perfumy hop presence as well. A light caramel was present to complement the hops. The beer was very lightly hazy with a golden color and a persistent head which lasted to lace the glass. The flavor was nicely bittered with a spicy and lightly citrusy hop flavor. The malt was nicely accentuated with spicy and light menthol hops. The body was medium and the carbonation was moderate. The finish was nice and crisp. A nice pils, a bit fruity, but extremely easy to consume. Pint at Horniblows.

Apr 26, 2006 Draught at 42nd St Oyster Bar in Raleigh, NC. Clear golden color with a thin white head that left a nice lace coating on the glass. Grassy and sprucy hop aromas that mingle with a touch of cereal grain. Crisp and slightly sweet, especially the first sip. Nice ceral grain flavor that lingers a bit. Nice pilsner.

Mar 29, 2006 Draught. Very carbonated, white, frothy head, nice lacing, slightly fizzy. Aroma is slight malt, slight sweet, and the rest....well it is a pilsner. Flavor is slightly malty, grassy, and has bitter finish. Crisp at end and quite tasty.

Mar 26, 2006 Updated: Mar 27, 2006(growler, thanks wilkie) Crystal clear apple juice body with white head that does not retain well. Aroma is medium sweet, grassy/herbal, apple, cereal. Taste is medium sweet, grassy, some apple, herbal. Nice hoppy finish. Light-medium body, somewhat watery, with some crispness, easy drinking.
