Mar 24, 2009 Taste 3/9 bottle. Looks: Cloudy pale gold, with a fast disappearing champagne foam. Aroma: Orange peel, clove and pepper. Taste: Medium carbonation, maybe too little. Clove and orange peel and some candy sugar. No off flavors but overly simple.

Aroma: Mostly spiced fruit, some malty nose as well
Appearance: Cloudy orange color, minimal head
Flavor: Similar to the nose, sweet, little malty
Palate: Decent body for a Blonde, but pretty weak overall
Overall Impression:
Fruity Blonde, not something to go out of your way for, but worth trying, I wouldn’t call this a Belgian Ale, more of a fruity low alcohol Tripel or a Blonde

Mar 2, 2009 A nice beer. Not a true belgian... but a pleasant nutty flavor. But still an expected belgian sweetness. Thin head, light cloudy... not as cloudy as most belginas.

Mar 1, 2009 Milky orange copper. Cloudy pour. Slightly nutty. Clove and cinnamon on the nose. Maybe even cedar. More of the same in flavors. Complex spices. Good best beer of Butter’s tasting so far. Well rounded.

Mar 1, 2009 Bottle at the Fourth Butters’ Cellar Clearance Event. Pours a clear gold with wispy thin white head. Nose of alcohol and spiced fruit. Burning spicy alcohol flavor with some yeast funk strain. The awesome label just doesn’t make up for how much I didn’t really like this brew.

Mar 1, 2009 Updated: Jul 15, 200912 oz bottle at Butters’ 4th Cellar Reduction. Pours the color of clover honey with a white head that that is thin but laces. Smells sweet, spicy, and fruity. Tastes earthen, some brown sugar, nutty, and spices. Fun beer to drink.

Feb 25, 2009 Cloudy orange color with no head. Big yeast and bread aroma. Lots of candi sugar taste. Noble, floral hop profile and a grassy finish. Slight spices. Definitely seems to go in the direction of Duvel.
