Foggy, darkish copper with a small head that lasts. Aroma is spicy fruit, caramel and corn. Flavors of grilled corn, spiced peaches, slight bubblegum, waxy apples and grapes, resin and light citrus. The peaty-fishy undertone throughout is interesting. Light-medium body finishes dry and smoked troutish. iowaherkeye (1860), Los Angeles, California, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 14, 2008 12oz bottle, notched on May (bottled on, 2008) thanks to TURDFERGUSON, thank you! Lightly hazy orange caramel with a ring of white head. Pears, apricots, and a bit of apples. Fruity. Cotton candy and spicy yeasty esters are also present. Flavor actually got a bit more fruity, but seemed a bit off somehow. Peach pits show up in the flavor, and it’s a big friggin’ fruit cocktail. Semi-dry finish with bitterness peaking around a 1 to 2. Pretty low carbonation with a medium body. Too much sweet and overripened fruit is going on here, though it wasn’t bad, by any means. keepersj12 (805), Sicklerville, New Jersey, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jul 7, 2008 The aroma is very nice typical of the style. Something in the flavor didn’t seem right. It had a bit of sweetness and some sourness as well but there was something else almost fishy. Since I’m drinking it on the beach, I am discounting the fishiness. Still it’s not bad.
