Aug 3, 2008 Pours cloudy, yellow, with a fine white head. Aroma is yeasty with some vanilla qualities. Flavor is spicy and yeasty, again with the vanilla and mild citrus flavors.

Jul 28, 2008 Updated: Nov 5, 200912 oz, bottled May 08. Foggy, darkish copper with a small head that lasts. Aroma is spicy fruit, caramel and corn. Flavors of grilled corn, spiced peaches, slight bubblegum, waxy apples and grapes, resin and light citrus. The peaty-fishy undertone throughout is interesting. Light-medium body finishes dry and smoked troutish.

Jul 14, 2008 12oz bottle, notched on May (bottled on, 2008) thanks to TURDFERGUSON, thank you! Lightly hazy orange caramel with a ring of white head. Pears, apricots, and a bit of apples. Fruity. Cotton candy and spicy yeasty esters are also present. Flavor actually got a bit more fruity, but seemed a bit off somehow. Peach pits show up in the flavor, and it’s a big friggin’ fruit cocktail. Semi-dry finish with bitterness peaking around a 1 to 2. Pretty low carbonation with a medium body. Too much sweet and overripened fruit is going on here, though it wasn’t bad, by any means.

Jul 7, 2008 The aroma is very nice typical of the style. Something in the flavor didn’t seem right. It had a bit of sweetness and some sourness as well but there was something else almost fishy. Since I’m drinking it on the beach, I am discounting the fishiness. Still it’s not bad.

Jul 2, 2008 Hazy yellow in color with big fluffy white head. Aroma of yeast,belgian canbdy, and light sourness. The taste was the same with various spices dancing around. Firm on the palate with some dryness in the finish.
