Commercial Description:
This style originated in Belgium to compete with the pilsners from Czechoslovakia, Germany, and Poland. It is a fruity ale with very strong carbonation, with complex, spicy flavors like cloves.

Bottled. An unclear golden beer with a thick white head. The aroma has notes of malt, wheaty, peaches, and some spices. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of wheat and peaches, leading to a dry, spicy finish. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

12 fl oz bottle, courtesy of Papsoe. Pours slight cloudy yellow with a fully gone head. Mild spiced yeasty aroma. Clove spiced flavour with a mellow yeasty presence. Smooth into a nice finish with light yeasty fruity notes.

Light light unclear medium yellow color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, moderate yeasty, chees, barnyard. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20081004]

Bottle, 7%. Peppery aroma with a little spicy hops. Cloudy pale yellow colour. Small white head. Quite fruity flavour, good breadiness, some alcohol. Dried fruit notes. Good mouthfeel.
