Aroma of lightly sweet grainy pale malts with an earthy, piny hoppy presence. Body starts thin and effervescent with a mild, earthy grainy malty character and big hoppy bitterness with some grapefruity flavor. A pretty decent IPA. tupalev (2617), Waterloo, Ontario, Canada
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 1, 2007 Bottle shared with Hogtown Harry and MDS, Harry’s bottle. Strong, very strong, earthy hops in aroma. Orange pour, small white head. Wow, over the top hops in taste! So bitter...like me :) Not much else. Long linger. One dimensional, but a damn good dimension. NicerInPerson (337), North of Raleigh, North Carolina, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Mar 19, 2007 The aroma was fruity and citrusy with a nice caramel presence. The aroma was also piney with a grapefruit nose. In the glass the beer was lightly hazy golden amber with a low white head. The flavor was nicely citrusy with a light grapefruit nature. Caramel was also present and a bit of a floral character. The beer was nicely bittered but yet well balanced. The body was medium and the carbonation was moderate leading to a creamy mouthfeel. A nice IPA, not overly complex, well bittered and easy to consume.

Light hop aroma with some earthy milk smells also. The taste was the same but, again nothin’ special. mhelgason (495), Charlotte, North Carolina, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 3, 2007 Bottle. Average white creamy head that dissapated fairly quickly. Fair lacing. Cloudy burnt orange color. Aroma of grapefruit, pine, and some light malts. Flavor is initially bitter but as you go further into the IPA the bitterness subsides greatly leaving some sweetness with a average lingering bitter finish. Light, watery body. Soft carbonation. Overall a good IPA. ncsuyoung (2), USA does not count | 4.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 4/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 20/20 | Mar 2, 2007 This is one for hop-heads as it is a highly hopped IPA. Actually, the most highly hopped I’ve encountered. As such there is no middle ground for beer afficianos. You either like it or you hate it. I love highly hopped beers so it’s my favorite IPA
