Hoppy flavor and aroma of citrus and pine with a sweet malt underneath. The flavor also had some grassy notes as well as being malty and metalic. The flavor was dull. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Dec 30, 2006 clear copper-gold body with a small off-white head. little ringlets of lacing. smells of citrus and raw vegetables with grass and light hops. some good herbal flavoring with hops, grass and orange peel. but that is overwhelmed by the more unpleasant tastes that are chalky and acidic. it is also a little flat. i wasn’t very impressed with this one. it was ok but it could have been much cleaner. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 25, 2006 Medium clear orange, OK head. Refreshing hoppy grapefruit aroma. Flavor had a nice note of grapefruit. As it warmed, some biscuit malts and earthy hops emerged. Nice little IPA. The body struck me as being almost "West Coast," where the emphasis is on the hop, not the malt. FROTHINGSLOSH (2045), GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA

The aroma was nutty, fruity and piney. The flavor was somewhat dry with a tangy and nutty malt base, floral and fruity hops and a sour and bitter finish. The mouthfeel was a bit thin. Nose of hops and citrusl hazy copper with a small off-white head that laces the glass as I drink; flavor of hop bitterness, without much else, I liked their Pale Ale better. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Nov 28, 2006 beautiful orange amber color with inch-thick white head. Nose is citrus hops with a slight malty presence. Flavor is bitter hops (not as aggressive or multi-demensioned as I like) and the malt backbone is really lacking. Palate is a big turn-off for me, bitter and not much else. Meh. I met the guys that brew this at a beer tasting. Nice guys. samsondoggie (1), North Carolina, USA does not count | 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 19/20 | Nov 21, 2006 Nicely hoppy. this beer is not too full of molasses. It is one of the few beers that I have purchased in some time that I came back and got the same thing the next week. LennyH (60), Delaware, USA
